Kinetic Luna Scooter EV Details
As confirmed via the latest social media post by the CEO herself, Kinetic Luna will soon make a comeback in the Indian market. Luna brand has been iconic in terms of reliability as well as affordability for ages. However, it was laid down to rest a long time back & the Indian user definitely missed it. Going further, the trend of the economical EV makers has now shifted towards the EV culture. Hence, Kinetic has decided to bring back the Luna brand in a much-reformed manner. However, the catch is that it won't be a slow-speed luggage-ferrying scooter as it used to be.
The possible situation is that it'll be a high-speed e-scooter. Also, the latest EV tech indicates that it can easily attain a real-world riding range of upwards of 150 km on a single charge. However, the company has not disclosed any crucial details like the design or the battery spec; until now. Speaking of the previous Luna scooter, it used to ride at a slow speed range of 40-50 kmph. However, the upcoming Luna might easily go upwards of this designated speed. Also, e-Luna will be designed to ferry B2B luggage and last-mile delivery services. Hence, its design will be radical and more conventional; if so.
Verdict
As the official confirmation of the e-Luna has rolled, we suspect that Kinetic might introduce it anytime sooner. However, we've yet not seen any test mules of it going through the final road testing phase. Hence, we can estimate that it'll debut anytime next year. Also, its nearest ICE competitor is the TVS XL. But, the e-Luna will be priced higher than it because of the powertrain difference. Tell us in the comments what you think of the upcoming Luna e-scooter.
