
Like every carmaker, Hyundai too increased the prices of its cars and SUVs for this year. However, to make up for the increased costs, Hyundai is also offering discount for January 2021 and the latest offers follow right from entry-level hatchback Santro the popular electric SUV, Kona EV.

Hyundai Santro

The prices of Santro starts from Rs 4.64 lakh and the top model fetches till Rs 6.32 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The South Korean carmaker is offering discount worth Rs 35,000 for the Magna, Sportz and Asta variant while the base Era Executive is available with Rs 25,000 worth of discount. The Rs 15,000 exchange remains standard for all the variants and is included in the figures.

Sharing details on the engine options then it comes with a single 1.1-litre, BS6 compliant petrol engine which makes as much as 68 bhp at 5500 RPM and a peak torque of 99 Nm at 4500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox along with an optional AMT unit.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo

The successor to the Grand i10 has not only grown in dimensions but also the features, engine updates the prices too. However, Hyundai is offering discount worth Rs 15,000 on the 1.2L petrol and CNG options. Sharing details on the turbo petrol option then it is available with Rs 35,000 worth of discount which includes Rs 25,000 as cash and another Rs 10,000 as exchange. The turbo petrol is available in the Sportz variant only and costs Rs 7.76 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
The above engine options are also shared with the compact sedan, Aura. The turbo petrol which is the peppiest of the lot gets the same 1.0-litre unit from the Venue but in a detuned form. It now makes 99 bhp with a peak torque of 172 Nm. It gets a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.
Hyundai Aura

Like the Nios which was a successor to the Grand i10, Aura is to Xcent. It is available in both petrol, diesel, CNG and turbo petrol engine options. Both the 1.2L petrol and diesel are available with Rs 25,000 worth of benefits which include Rs 10,000 as cash and another Rs 15,000 as exchange.

Sharing details on the turbo petrol engine then it is available with the highest discount of Rs 45,000. This includes Rs 30,000 as cash and another Rs 15,000 as exchange. The CNG model is based on the 1.2L petrol and only Rs 15,000 exchange is available on that.
As we mentioned above that it shares the same 1.0L petrol engine with the Nios, here are figures of the 1.2L petrol and diesel engine. The petrol makes 82 bhp with 114 Nm of peak torque while the latter generates 94 bhp with 190 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines get a 5-speed manual as standard and an optional AMT as standard.
Hyundai Kona

One of the first electric SUVs in the country, Kona was an instant success but now it's available with a total discount of Rs 1.50 lakh as cash offer. Powering the Kona EV is a 39.2 kWh battery pack and it gets the highest driving range of 452 km. It is equipped with fast charging capability and 0-80% can be achieved in just 57 minutes. This motor delivers 136 bhp with a peak torque of 395 Nm and is available with a single-speed automatic gearbox.
