Carmakers bring in good discount offers every month and for January 2021, Datsun is providing up to Rs 40,000 worth of benefits to the customers. Currently, Datsun has three cars in its portfolio - the entry-level Redi-GO, Go and the 7-seater GO+.

Datsun GO and GO+
Both the 5 and 7-seater version attract a cash offer of Rs 20,000 along with an exchange benefit of Rs 20,000. That means, if you plan to pick any of the models, you can get your old car exchanged along and the price will be lowered with that f the estimated value.

Sharing details on the power figures then both the above cars are available in a single 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated petrol motor which makes as much as 67 bhp at 5000 RPM and a peak torque of 104 Nm at 4000 RPM. Both the cars are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and gets an optional CVT unit. If you choose the latter then the power figures stick at 76 bhp with a peak torque of 104 Nm.
Datsun Redi-GO
The entry-level sedan which got a facelift last year is available with a discount worth Rs 35,000. This is further seen as Rs 15,000 cash benefits, another Rs 15,000 as exchange benefits and then Rs 5,000 as the corporate offer.

The Redi-GO targets the buyers of Renault Kwid and Maruti Alto 800. The 1.0L unit also targets with the likes of Maruti S-Presso. Datsun offers two engine options with the Redi-GO - a 0.8-litre and a 1.0L unit. Both the engines are naturally aspirated.
The smaller 0.8L unit makes as much as 54 bhp at 5600 RPM and a peak torque of 72 Nm at 4250 RPM while the bigger, 1.0-litre unit generates 91 Nm of peak torque at 4250 RPM and the power figures stick at Rs 67 bhp at 5500 RPM.
