
Like every other carmaker, Renault too brings in monthly discount and for January 2021, the latest offer reaches as high as Rs 65,000 on some of the models. Currently, Renault has three cars in its portfolio - Kwid, Triber and the mid-size SUV, Duster. The upcoming Kiger which will target with Nissan Magnite is also in the pipeline.

Renault Kwid

One of the most successful products from Renault, the Kwid targets with the likes of Maruti Alto 800 and Datsun Redi-GO. It's higher variant competes with cars like Maruti S-Presso and even Hyundai Santro. The Kwid is offered in a petrol engine with two specifications - a smaller 0.8L and the 1.0L unit which also gets an optional AMT gearbox.

The discounts are valid for select variants and you have to connect with the nearest dealership for the same. The STD variant and the RXE of 0.8L spec only receive Rs 10,000 as loyalty benefits and does not get any additional discount. Also, customers can either choose between the corporate or rural discount before finalising the deal. Another noticeable change is the huge cash discount is not valid for the newer that is the 2021 models.

As for the power figures, the 0.8L of the Kwid generates 53 bhp at 5678 RPM with a peak torque of 72 Nm at 4386 RPM. For the 1.0L motor, the power figure stands at 67 hp at 5500 RPM and a peak torque of 91 Nm at 4250 RPM. Both the engine gets a standard 5-speed manual gearbox. The AAI certified fuel economy for the 0.8L is 25 kmpl and 23 kmpl for the 1.0L. For the 1.0 AMT, it sticks to 22 kmpl.
Renault Duster

One of the most popular mid-size SUVs of its time lost its value when competition like Hyundai Creta entered the market. Renault is providing total discount worth Rs 65,000 on the DUster turbo and Rs 45,000 on the 1.5L, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor.
For the RXE variant one will only get loyalty benefits worth up to Rs 15,000 while for the 1.3L turbo petrol, it also gets Rs 20,000 as cash offer which the 1.5L non-turbo engine misses out on. Similarly, exchange bonus of up to Rs 30,000 is available for only RXZ and RXS variant. Like before, customers can either avail the corporate or rural benefit.
Renault Triber

The most affordable 7 seater car available in the Indian market, Triber is available with a discount worth Rs 60,000 for some of the variants. The cash offer accounts to Rs 20,000 for the AMT variants while only Rs 10,000 for select variants like RXL, RXT and RXZ manual versions.

Furthermore, the loyalty bonus which is up to Rs 10,000 includes either cash or exchange benefits. The exchange bonus on the Triber is worth s 30,000 when opting for the AMT variant and Rs 20,000 for the RXL, RXT and RXZ variants. You also get a corporate discount worth Rs 10,000 and rural offer worth Rs 5,000. You can only choose one.
Renault Triber is offered with a 1.0L naturally aspirated, a three-cylinder motor which makes 71 bhp at 6250 RPM with a peak torque of 91 Nm at 3500 RPM. The engine gets mated to a 5-speed manual unit and an optional AMT gearbox. Renault Triber starts from Rs 5.20 lakh and the top model fetches till Rs 7.49 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
