
LML is set to return to the Indian market but this time in an all-electric format. The brand has filed a JV with eROCKIT to make electric hyperbike.
LML is all set to return to the Indian market. The comeback of the homegrown brand will be via an all-electric pathway. Yes, LML has recently signed a letter of intent (LOI) with the German EV maker eROCKIT. The petition for a joint venture will help the manufacturers to jointly develop and be the first electric hyperbike in India.

The joint venture is still due for an official agreement, which is most likely to happen soon. This venture will enable LML to utilize the German R&D and expertise of eROCKIT to jot down a localized product. According to the official statement released, both the parties are looking forward to jointly developing a hyperbike. This EV product will be mass-produced once the official steps of the agreement are completed midst both the companies.

Called the Hyper Human Hybrid by the company; this hyperbike is a pedal-powered electric motor embedded two-wheeler. This bike can be used via the pedaling method as well as the electric motor assist via the use of a direct belt drive to the rear wheel. Engineers of eROCKIT have designed a smart intelligent system that uses electric power to multiply the efforts put by the rider via pedaling. This multiplication of pedal power helps the EV to achieve hypermiling or easy long-distance coverage.

LML says that the already present EV segments have already started to fatigue; their innovative and cost-friendly product will change the whole perspective of the Indian electric two-wheeler segment. For now, there are no details about the launch time, date, cost, etc. of this upcoming electric hyperbike. While the industry waits for this petition to be agreed upon, the EV segment keeps growing on until then.
