Priced at Rs 2.55 crore, the Eletre establishes itself as the most powerful and expensive electric SUV in India. Beyond its groundbreaking price and performance, the Eletre signifies Lotus' pivotal shift toward becoming an exclusively electric performance car brand.
Let's look at what this uber-expensive EV SUV promises to offer.
Lotus Eletre SUV Launched: Most Expensive EV In The Country
The design of the Lotus Eletre SUV draws inspiration from various elements found in other iconic Lotus models. Notably, the sharp edges at the front bear a resemblance to the Lotus Evija and Emira, showcasing a cohesive design language. The inclusion of a glass canopy on the top mirrors the sleek aesthetic of the Evija. The India-specific model is equipped with 22-inch, 10-spoke forged wheels as standard, adding a touch of sophistication.
Emphasizing its electric nature, the Eletre prioritizes aerodynamic efficiency with an active front grille directing air under the leading edge, emerging through vents on the bonnet, behind the front wheel arches, behind the rear wheels, and atop the D-pillar. The rear of the SUV features a distinctive full-length ribbon light that curves into the air outlets from the wheel arches, a design similarity with the Emira and Evija. This light changes color based on the car's motion and battery charge.

The Lotus Eletre's interior is a tech and comfort haven, featuring a 15.1-inch foldable touchscreen with Lotus Hyper OS, four-zone climate control, and 12-way electrically adjustable front seats. Additional offerings include an ADAS suite, air purifier, multi-color ambient lighting, and a premium 15-speaker KEF-sourced sound system. The electric SUV provides versatility with options for four or five-seater configurations, and its interior theme can be personalized in six styles, all crafted from 100% recyclable materials, highlighting a commitment to sustainability.
Powertrain: Range, Power & More
The Lotus Eletre boasts a standardized 112kWh battery pack across all variants. The Eletre and Eletre S feature a dual-motor setup, delivering an impressive driving range of 600km on a full charge, accompanied by a power output of 600bhp and 710Nm of torque.
