Mahindra has now confirmed that they are planning to bring 9 SUVs by 2026 and yes, in their launch plan they also confirmed that out of these 9 SUVs, a few of them will be facelifted versions too. Right from the upcoming XUV700 to Scorpio and the five-door version of the Thar, Mahindra plans to target the future SUVs buyer in the country. Here are all the details of it!
First, we'll witness the launch of the long-awaited XUV700 that will replace the current-gen XUV500. The mid-size SUV will pack in a plethora of features and two engine options - a 2.2L diesel and a 2.0L mStallion petrol motor.
Next up is the new generation of the Scorpio that is expected to hit the market early next year. Mahindra claims that it now sits on new chassis and recent spy shots reveal that the interiors take inspiration from the current Thar 3-door version. Several reports also suggest that the 4WD version will be sticking to the top-spec version only.

There's a report on the Thar too. Yes, the iconic SUV was launched in 2020 and took the Indian market by strome. Mahindra has now confirmed that they are planning to bring the five-door version of the Thar and is expected to launch in 2023. We believe that the mechanicals will remain unchanged but the length and wheelbase will be increased.
Then we also have the facelifted version of the XUV300. This compact SUV is the safest in its segment and we believe that with the facelift, XUV300 will appeal to more buyers and thus the sales will e increased.
The next car we have is the all-new Bolero. It is not clear if they are bringing a facelift or the all-new generation that will pack all the latest features and tech. Hopefully, the power figures will improve for the new Bolero.

Mahindra has also confirmed two products - W620 and V201. As per the reports, they might bring the XUV900 in the coupe avatar that was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. Furthermore, they have confirmed that the XUV500 will be temporarily discontinued and a newer model will be launched soon. Mahindra also plans to launch electric vehicles but that will be in 2025 and 2026. It is not sure if they will be available to the private buyers or will stick its interest with the commercial fleet.
