Mahindra Thar: Price Increase Details

Mahindra Thar comes in three variants: LX, AX Optional, and Earth Edition. In the LX variant, both the hard-top versions with petrol AT in RWD and diesel MT in RWD have seen a price increase of Rs 10,000. Similarly, the AX(O) variant with a hard-top and diesel MT in RWD has also seen a price hike.
However, it's important to note that the prices of the other variants remain unchanged. So, if you're eyeing any of those, you won't see any difference in cost.

The Mahindra Bolero Neo lineup offers four different variants: N4, N8, N10, and N10 (O). The base variant, N4, has seen a modest increase of Rs 5000, bringing its starting ex-showroom price to Rs. 9,94,600. The N8 variant, on the other hand, has experienced a slightly steeper hike of Rs 14,000.
Interestingly, the prices for the N10 and N10 (O) variants remain unchanged, holding steady without any adjustments.

Specifically, the Z8 variant, available in both 2WD petrol and diesel options, now costs Rs 10,000 more. Additionally, the Z2, Z4, and Z6 variants have also seen a price uptick of Rs 25,000 each. Notably, the hike affects both petrol and diesel powertrain options for Z2 and Z4, while Z6's increase is limited to its diesel variant. This adjustment applies uniformly across the mentioned variants.
Verdict
The increase in prices mainly impacts the lower and middle-tier options of the hike, with the higher-end variants experiencing minimal changes.
