Maruti Suzuki has updated its Baleno with newly added safety features as standard across variants. The Maruti Baleno now comes with Electronic Stability Program(ESP) and Hill-Hold Assist right from the base sigma variant. The prices of the car also increased last month in January. This offers better safety on the Baleno. Maruti Suzuki Swift also recieved the safety features bump for its 2023 models with the same ESP, which is now standard across variants.

Maruti Baleno Gets A Safety Boost
Earlier the ESP and Hill-Hold Assist was offered only with the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) variants of Baleno and the top trim Alpha manual variant. Now in 2023, Baleno will get both of the features as standard across manual as well as AMT transmission.
New Connectivity Features Rolled Out For The Baleno, XL6, And Ertiga
Also, Maruti Suzuki rolled out new connectivity features for its Nexa lineup of Baleno, XL6 and Ertiga yesterday. Interestingly, not only the new cars but also the existing cars will also be updated via an OTA update. The new features included Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Turn-By-Turn navigation on HUD for the Baleno, and Premium acoustic turning for the Ertiga and XL6.
VERDICT- With the prices increased in January, Maruti has to offer a better package for the price. The additional safety features are an important update for the price it now demands. Also, the safety features adds to the overall sense of a more robust vehicle and would inspire a more confident driving experience.
