Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that churns out 105 PS of power at 6000 RPM and 138 Nm of torque at 4400 RPM. The Sigma variant of the Ciaz comes mated to 5-speed manual gearbox only. However, its upper trims get a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox too. Skoda Rapid and Volkswagen Vento are powered by the same BS6-compliant 1.0-litre turbocharged, direct-injection petrol engine. This TSI motor churns out 110 PS of power at 5000-5500 RPM and 175 Nm of torque between 1750-4000 RPM. The Rapid Rider and the Vento Trendline comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox only. However, the top-spec trims of the Vento also get an automatic transmission. The top-spec models of the Rapid too will soon get an automatic gearbox.
