Maruti Suzuki kicked off the 2020 Auto Expo in style with the showcase of the much awaited Future-e SUV concept. This is purely in a concept stage as of now but will pave the way for future cars from the company. The Future-e SUV also gives us enough hints on what to expect from the company in the coming years. The was unveiled in the presence of young children and we loved this gesture from the company. Afterall, we need to make sure the environment remains clean and green for our young ones.
Maruti will stop selling diesel cars in India and will shift their focus to petrol, CNG and hybrid ones. Do note that in the coming future, the hybrid cars will not be mild ones as seen in the current offerings but will come with a proper electric motor to assist the engine. Maruti will follow the green revolution and the Future-e SUV is a testimony to the same fact. At the Auto Expo, the company has made its "Mission Green Million" plans vocal and will be shifting their entire focus to bringing down direct or indirect emissions.
The Futuro-e SUV has been conceptualized and designed right here in India. We are sure consumers will love the SUV stance and with this, Maruti will introduce a fresh global design perspective to domestic users. This 2-door SUV can seat four and comes with connected features - the same will also be seen on future Maruti cars. Do remember, the S-Presso was based on the Future S concept shown at the 2018 Auto Expo.
