Maruti Suzuki is all set to unveil the Futuro-E Coupe SUV at the 2020 Auto Expo. Derived from the Coupe SUVs trend worldwide, MSIL has tried to offer something really different. This one expected to rival mid-size SUVs in the market. Launch timeline for the same hasn't been disclosed yet.
The Futuro-E is going to be a Coupe-SUV and it will be electric! The concept image doesn't reveal much but the silhouette of an SUV with a tapering roof is visible. The lights look very futuristic and angular with wraparound design. We expect it the rival of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, Tata Harrier and Renault Duster. It can create its own audience by delivering the Coupe SUV stance which is currently missing in mid-size SUV space. It is going to be the first Coupe SUV from Maruti Suzuki India.

Maruti Suzuki Futuro-E will be a coupe but will retain the SUV character with chunky wheel arches, high bonnet and ground clearance. We expect it to be available with a petrol engine and also a diesel engine. MSIL might relaunch the 1.5-litre DDIS 225 diesel engine in the BS6 guise. Nothing is official yet but you will be seeing this coupe-SUV concept flaunting and catching eyeballs at the 2020 Auto Expo.
