If you remember, just a few weeks ago, the new BS6-compliant S-Cross Petrol was launched in India at the same starting price. So, what new does the S-Cross Plus variant gets? So, the new BS6-compliant Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Petrol has been launched in India just a few weeks ago. It is available in four variants - Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Now, the newly launched Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Plus is based on the base-spec Sigma variant. It retains all the features of the base model Sigma and some new features have been added to make it a great buying package. This new 'Plus' is basically an accessory kit worth 37,000 rupees. It is offered to the customers for free of cost, provided if they don't want to avail the discount offers.

Talking about the add-ons, so this Plus accessory package adds a Pioneer music system with four speakers, antenna lead, front fog lamps and a reverse parking camera. Further, it also adds a rear parcel tray, a roof-mounted black-coloured spoiler and full wheel covers. All these features are missing on the base-spec Sigma trim and this entire package costs around Rs. 36,997. Apart from these new add-ons, there have been no changes in this flagship Maruti SUV. It gets safety features like ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors with camera and all-wheel disc brakes, etc. as standard.
The 2020 Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is powered by a new BS6-compliant 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This K15B petrol motor churns out 105 PS of maximum power at 6000 RPM and 138 Nm of torque at 4400 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. However, being based on the Sigma trim, the S-Cross Plus only gets a manual gearbox. The new Suzuki S-Cross Petrol is priced between Rs. 8.39 lakhs - Rs. 12.39 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
