Just a few months ago, Maruti Suzuki launched the BS6-compliant version of its flagship product in India, the S-Cross. The S-Cross is a very popular mid-size SUV in the Indian market. It was first launched in the year 2015 and it got a facelift in 2017. Hitherto, the S-Cross was a diesel-only car but now it's 2020 and it has become a petrol-only car. The company recently launched the S-Cross Petrol BS6 in the country. Now, the carmaker is also planning to soon launch a new Plus variant of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross.
As we have already mentioned before, the BS6-compliant S-Cross Petrol has been launched in India just a few weeks ago. It is available in four variants - Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Plus trim will be based on the base-spec Sigma variant. It will retain all the features of the Sigma and some new features will also be added to make it a great buying package. While this 'Plus' can be a new variant, some reports even claim that it will be just an accessory kit worth 36,000 rupees that will be offered to the customers for free of cost if they don't want to avail the discounts.
