The Indian society is ready to make a shift towards electric mobility for a safe and secure future ahead. Mercedes-Benz already has multiple electric vehicles in the market and the company is ready to unveil another electric car EQE by 2022 that will have multiple outputs and range choices.
Mercedes-Benz EQE will be an SUV that would come with a fresh styling design. The company is in a plan to extend its EQ range that now has multiple models like EQC, EQA, EQS and EQE will be another one in the electric family. EQE, for now, is available as a sedan and the company will now unveil the SUV version of the car.

The upcoming EQE SUV will be a powerful one and this one is under development under the Mercedes-Benz internal codename X294. The upcoming EQE SUV will be built on the bespoke electric MEA (or EVA2) platform. The car will compete against the likes of BMW iX3 and Tesla Model X.
Mercedes-Benz is ready to expand its EQ range as well. The company is in plan to expand the electric range to at least ten new models by 2025 and has already introduced EQB and EQC SUVs, EQA, EQS luxury sedan, and the all-electric EQV van. The upcoming EQE will be a part of the upcoming range of electric cars. Along with this, the company has recently announced that it will also introduce an electric SUV EQG that would be inherited with true off-roading capabilities.
EQE and EQC are powered by the same motor and are powered by a 21.520.1 kWh/100 km and the CO emission is 0 g/km. The EQC once fully charged can run up to 430 km to 454 km depending on the way you drive. However, the upcoming EQE is expected to have a better range and the car once fully charged is expected to run around 600 km.

Mercedes-Benz has so far just introduced EQC in the Indian market. According to the reports, more and more electric vehicles will now start reaching the Indian markets as well. The Government of India is working on the infrastructure of developing charging stations as the automotive industry is ready to make a move towards a green future or electric mobility.
Mercedes-Benz in the international markets has already launched a variety of electric cars however the company will soon start manufacturing them for the Indian roads and markets as well.
