Mercedes-Benz V-Class Marco Polo Edition To Launch At 2020 Auto Expo

Mercedes-Benz stakes have risen with the launch of V-Class and its Elite edition. Now, further details reveal that the German manufacturer is eyeing for its another version. That will be the Mercedes-Benz V-Class Marco Polo Edition which will launch at the 2020 Auto Expo.

Sharing some highlights about the Mercedes-Benz V-Class Marco Polo Edition then it is basically a camper. (You can forget taking flights or even hotels when you buy this). The premium MPV packs the idea of living home spaces.

Martin Schwenk, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, At Auto Expo 2020, besides launching the AMG GT 4 Door Coupe and unveiling the A-Class Limousine and the New GLA SUV, we also will be launching something unique and never seen before in India.

Inspired by the success of the V-Class Luxury MPV in India, we will be launching the V-Class Marco Polo Camper. Nothing reflects restlessness and a spirit of adventure better than an exciting road-trip and camping.

The V-Class Marco Polo embodies these very characteristics combining outdoor ruggedness with Mercedes-Benzs world-renowned luxury and technology. The V-Class camper is surely going to create a lot of interest among our customers, who already have shown overwhelming response to the V-Class luxury MPVs.

The luxurious MPV will be launched on February 6, 2020. And under the hood, we expect a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine which is also available in the V-Class Elite. The ELWB V-Class gets a BS4 compliant 2.2-litre diesel engine.

This 2.0L unit that comes with the V-Class Elite produces 161 bhp at 4,200 rpm on tap. The peak torque sticks at 380 Nm at 1,200 rpm. Transmission wise it gets a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and one also gets the availability of sports mode.
