But to satisfy the needs of the people who wanted more opulence, they also dropped in the Elite some time back with more luxury. Now, what if you want to make the V class your own house and go out for a picnic. Here is the Mercedes Benz V class Marco Polo which has been launched at Rs 1.46 crores. The horizon variant comes at tad cheaper at Rs 1.38 crores.

The Mercedes V class Marco Polo can be your driving companion in the morning and a cozy double bed for the night. The rear seats of the V class Marco Polo can be laid down on the floor and what you get is a flat and squishy bed. In the day the seats can be converted into a two-seater luxury couch. Other great utility features like pop-out tables, fully equipped kitchenette and a wardrobe.

It measures more than 5.1 metres in length 1.9 metres in width and 1.9 metres in height with a wheelbase of 3200 mm. The engine on offer is the 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel churning out 163 Hp and it has been paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. sitting lower the Marco Polo is the Expression- priced at Rs 68.4 lakhs, Exclusive- priced at Rs 81.9 lakhs and Elite which is priced at Rs 1.10 crores.
There is no direct rival to this behemoth people carrier but Toyota is gearing up for the Vellfire and Kia has already launched the Carnival MPV. Did someone say Innova?
