Step inside the cabin and you will soon realize the simplicity is poles apart when compared to the exterior design. As per MG, the interiors are designed to maximize the cabin space by using minimum panels. The horizontal lines on the dashboard with a plain texture sit in a symphony with dual floating screens. The 10.25-inch infotainment display sits right in the centre of the dashboard and below it, is a centre console that houses a drive select rotary dial and electronic parking brake.

Verdict: The MG 4 EV is a ground's up EV based on the MSP (Modular Scalable Platform) architecture developed by MG's parent company SAIC Motor. Although the electric hatch's India launch is under consideration, if MG decides to bring it here, an attractive price tag is the only requirement to make it stand out. This is due to the fact that the vehicle is already an all-around package, with an advanced powertrain as well as equipment on offer.
