A year after accomplishing a good number of sales with the Hector, MG is now ready to launch its fourth product in the market which goes by the name Gloster. Yes, the upcoming Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour rival packs in uber loads of technology. So here we will share with you the variant wise features list the MG Gloster gets!

Sharing input about the variant wise features of the MG Gloster then it will be readily available with four trims at the time of its launch - Super, Smart, Sharp and Savvy. The latter is the new entrant which gets the new-age safety features.

MG Gloster 'Super' Variant
Also known as the base variant, the Super packs in some really amazing goodies to woo the buyers in this segment. It gets as many a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment with Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, multiple driving modes like Eco, normal and sports, 6-way adjustable driver's seat, manual AC, keyless entry and go, engine start/stop and among others. It also gets 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, auto LED headlights with DRLs, rain-sensing wipers and more.
Safety features on this one come with as many as 7 airbags, ABS with EBD and ESP, hill start assist, hill descent control, four-disc brakes, front and rear parking sensors, driver fatigue monitor and among others.
MG Gloster 'Smart' Variant
This one gets cornering lights, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel, paddle shifters, sunroof, 8.-inch MID, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 3-zone climate control, 12-way adjustable driver's seat, tri-zone climate control, tyre pressure monitoring system, i-SMART technology, leatherette upholstery with brown and diamond stitching and PM 2.5 Filter.
MG Gloster 'Sharp' Variant
This variant is available in either 6-seat or 7-seat configuration and offers blind spot detection, 360-degree camera, electronic locking rear differential, panoramic sunroof which can be operated via key or i-SMART, shift on-fly 4WD system with 7 driving modes, 64-colour ambient lighting, driver seat with memory, ventilated and heating function, wireless phone charger, electrically adjustable co-drivers seat with heating, 12-speaker audio system with subwoofer and amplifier, auto-dimming IRVM and auto tilt-wing mirror when reverse is engaged.

MG Gloster 'Savvy' Variant
The top of the line Savvy variant gets autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, hands-free parking and autonomous emergency braking.
Another interesting bit is that the lower variants of the Gloster which are Super and Smart will get a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel which makes 161 bhp with 375 Nm of peak torque. It gets a 4x2 system only. The Super gets 7-seat layout while the Smart only gets 6 seats.
The Sharp and Savvy variants offer the 2.0L twin-turbocharged diesel engine produces 215 bhp with 480 Nm of peak torque. Yes, the highest in the segment. Both the engine gets an 8-speed automatic gearbox and while the Sharp is available with both 6 and 7 seats, the Savvy only comes with 6-seat configuration.
The launch for the MG Gloster is scheduled for the festive season and it will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Mahindra Alturas G4 and the upcoming BS6 model of the Isuzu MU-X.
