MINI India has recently launched the MINI John Cooper Works (JCW) GP Inspired Edition in the Indian market. The car will be imported to India via the CBU (completely built unit) route and there will be only 15 units of these that will be available on sale. The Mini JCW GP Inspired Edition can be booked exclusively on the MINI India website. The JCW GP Inspired Edition is priced at Rs 46.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will feature an exclusive paint scheme. With this being said, check out more details here.
For starters, this limited edition model gets Racing Grey Metallic colour with contrasting Melting Silver Metallic roof, mirror caps and rear spoiler. The car also gets 18-inch JCW Cup Spoke two-tone alloys. In addition to this, the car gets Piano Black finish on inner parts of headlights, rear lights, door handles, fuel filler cap, and front grille surround. The MINI badge too gets a black colour finish. Moreover, the car gets a large panoramic glass roof, sill finishers with GP badging and GP floor mats.
Moving to the interiors of the car, the MINI JCW GP Inspired Edition is available with sports seats with leather Dinamica finish and GP badging, Walknappa leather-wrapped steering wheel, 3D-printed paddles and stainless steel pedal caps. The dashboard features a circular central 6.5-inch infotainment system which gets an LED ring surround. The infotainment gets features like Apple CarPlay, MINI Navigation System, USB< and Harman Kardon Hi-Fi Audio system.
Powering the JCW GP edition is a 2.0-L TwinPower Turbo engine. This engine churns out 231 hp and 320 Nm of peak torque. An 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission is offered as standard with the car. In addition to this, the JCW GP also features limited-slip differential and can hit 100 kmph from a standstill in just 6.1 secs! The car gets three driving modes - Standard, Sport, and Green. In addition to this, standard driver assistance systems like park distance control and a rearview camera are a standard offering with the package. On the safety front, it gets features like dual front airbags, Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability Control, crash sensors, ABS, Cornering Brake Control and a run-flat indicator.
