Bajaj ADV Bike: An Affordable Alternative For Touring?
A close look at the spy shots of this unknown test mule shows that it'll probably be a new iteration of Pulsar. How so? Well, look closely at the rear section, it gets the identical split LED taillight as the Pulsar models. Moreover, the rear tyre hugger is also identical to an NS Pulsar model. While the bike is seen covered completely, it has a raised beak design at the front. The fuel tank design is also unusual for a commuter bike; as it hints towards an ADV design.
The most convincing factor that makes sure this is an ADV; is the split seats. The scooped-out rider seat is similar to any ADV seat design. The tubular handlebar and the center set footpegs are also giving a relaxed riding posture appeal. Moreover, the front suspension is telescopic and looks like the travel is more than what is usually seen on commuter bikes.
Other interesting details to note include the alloy wheels, disc brake at the front wheel, a partially visible digital instrument console, and a kick starter. The kick starter hints towards a smaller capacity engine; probably a 150-160cc. Also, the rear tyre profile is very slim for a 250cc bike.
For now, no further details are known about this motorcycle. We anticipate that it could be a potential rival to the Honda CB200X. Bajaj shall position it as a commuter-tourer bike which will attract users with more highway usage. As it'll get a smaller engine, the pricing of it can be below the Rs 1.5 lakh mark as per our expectations.
