New Colour Options
Avoiding those previously available traditional colour schemes, the company chose to introduce some new and vibrant colour options with the new N125. These include six colour options- Ebony Black, Purple Fury, Cocktail Wine Red, Citrus Rush, Pearl Metallic White and Caribbean Blue. Coming to the design, I would say that the overall design language resembles the Pulsar N series-specific design, making the new N125 a familiar product in this aspect. The new Pulsar N125 gets a new/distinct LED face instead of the brow-shaped LED DRL and projector headlamp on other bikes in the N family.
New Engine
The all-new N125 sources its power from an all-new 125cc powerplant, capable of generating 11.8 bhp and 11 Nm. The new engine puts out more torque than the one on offer with the Pulsar 125. When it comes to grunt supply, the new engine is less rev-happy than the NS125's engine. All in all, it is all about the tuning and price category. With these power figures, the new N125 becomes the most powerful motorcycle in the segment, leaving behind the TVS Raider and Xtreme 125's figures.
Hardware
While providing the N125 with a new powerplant, the Bajaj has used the same hardware configuration on offer with the Pulsar N15. The N125 gets telescopic front forks and mono-shock absorbers at the rear. For braking duties, it gets a 240mm disc at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The new Pulsar misses out on the ABS. Maybe it's the Bajaj's way of cost-cutting on the new Pulsar.
Features
This while Bajaj has done a great job in terms of features as well. The new Pulsar gets a fully digital LCD console has Bluetooth connectivity and provides features like call accept/reject, missed call, and message alerts, along with fuel and economy readings. The LED headlamp ensures better visibility and a precise beam for safety. Additionally, it gets a USB charging port for charging the smartphone.
Price
The Bajaj Pulsar N125 has arrived with a price tag of Rs. 94,707 for the base variant. The new Pulsar N125 locks horns with the likes of TVS Raider and Hero Xtreme 125 in our market. Now, it remains to be seen if the new Pulsar manages to strengthen the brand's place in the 125cc category or not.

Verdict
The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is a solid contender in the 125cc segment with its vibrant new color options and improved engine performance. While it skips ABS, the competitive pricing and power output make it an attractive choice for budget-conscious buyers seeking a stylish and reliable daily commuter. It could challenge competitors like the TVS Raider effectively.
