Maserati has unveiled Grecale, a brand-new SUV for the global market. The Maserati Grecale joins a roster that includes the brand's most comprehensive lineup to date. Grecale will be available with a variety of engines, including classic internal combustion engines, hybrid engines, and, in a year, Maserati's first full-electric SUV.
At launch, three versions will be available: GT, which will be powered by a four-cylinder mild-hybrid engine capable of 299 bhp; Modena, which will be powered by a four-cylinder mild-hybrid engine capable of 330 bhp; and the powerful Trofeo, which will be equipped with a high-performance 3.0L 530 bhp petrol V6 based on the Nettuno engine found in the MC20. Exterior and Interior Design
Grecale's design incorporates Maserati's new visual insignia, which has been used to designate every new model since the MC20. A low and powerful grille dominates the front. With a very flowing body incorporating meandering, aesthetic forms and technical components underlined by the use of carbon fibre, the profile stands out for its contrast between purity and expertise. The boomerang taillights in the back are inspired by the Giugiaro 3200 GT and blend in with the trapezoidal line, which is enhanced by the coup頬ook of the cabin and its sports-car-like finish.
On the inside, the technology is controlled by three displays: a 12.3-inch central screen, the largest ever seen in a Maserati, an 8.8-inch display for the supplementary controls, and a third for the rear-seat occupants. The classic Maserati clock face is also available inside the cabin.
