MG Motor India recently introduced the new ZS EV and it has already garnered more than 1500 bookings so far. Available in two variants - Excite and Exclusive, this electric SUV is one of the most popular value for money vehicles in the market right now.
The new MG ZS EV packs in new design details, an updated battery pack with better performance figures and also gains on the features list. Powering the SUV is a 50.3 kWh battery pack that now generates 173 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 280 Nm. The WLTP claimed driving range stands at 461 km when the battery is fully juiced up.
Design-wise, the ZS EV now borrows some highlights from the Astor that was launched in 2021. The ZS EV now gets an updated front and rear bumper design, new alloy wheels, LED headlight setup and LED tail lamps. Overall, the new ZS EV looks more premium than before.

On the inside, it retains the all-black cabin like before but now gets a revamped dashboard design, redesigned AC vents, leather-wrapped steering wheel with contrast red stitching and many more. Feature-wise, it now gains a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features like cruise control, push-button start/stop, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable and retractable outside rear-view mirrors are retained as before.
On the safety front, it now gains a 360-view camera, blind spot detection system and lane change assist. Six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a high-speed alert system, front seat belt reminder, ABS with EBD and ESP, and more such features are retained as before.
