Yamaha Motor India organised a big virtual event today and launched the all-new Yamaha FZ-X in the country. At the same virtual launch event, the company also unveiled the new Yamaha Fascino 125 and the Ray ZR 125 BS6. So, in this article, we tell you what's new in the upcoming MY 2021 Yamaha Fascino 125 and the Ray ZR 125 BS6. Let's have a look at them.
New Engine with More Power, More Mileage
The new 2021 Yamaha Fascino 125 will get a new powerplant with hybrid technology. The scooter will be powered by a BS6 compliant 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This BS6 motor will now churn out 8.2 PS of power and 10.3 Nm of torque. The engine of the scooter will work in tandem with a battery that will help it extract 16 per cent more mileage than before. The same engine will power the new Ray ZR 125 too.

Loads of New Features
The 2021 Yamaha Fascino 125 will get an all-LED headlamp with a LED DRL and the same will be the case with the Ray ZR 125 too. These scooters will also get minor cosmetic updates. Talking about features, the Fascino 125 will get a new all-digital instrument cluster and both the scooters will now get Bluetooth connectivity too. Some other new features include a start/stop system, USB charging port, side stand engine cut off switch and many more.

How Much Will They Cost?
The price of the new Yamaha Fascino 125 and the Ray ZR 125 has not been revealed yet. We believe the updated Yamaha Fascino 125 and the Ray ZR 125 might be priced from around Rs 75,000, Ex-showroom Delhi. What are your thoughts on these updated scooters?
