Nissan India is working is left with only one product after the BS6 emissions which is the Kicks. We all know that Nissan is working on a compact SUV for long and we have seen the concept images as well. Just recently, the production-spec Nissan Magnite has been spied sans any camouflage and it is speculated to be the top trim.
Nissan Magnite will be the second product from the Japanese carmaker and it will decide the future of Nissan in India too. The car spied had the dual-tone blue colour along with shark fin antenna and dual-tone alloy wheels. The Magnite will be reminiscent of the Datsun Go-Cross concept shown before. The production-spec Magnite stays true to the concept - at least from the rear - with wraparound LED taillights and chunky skid plates.

Only the rear profile of the Magnite has been spied and the picture reveals some key details. The wraparound LED taillights sport a 3D-finish and the rear windshield gets wiper and defogger. The roof gets dual-tone treatment along with a shark fin antenna and roof rails. The alloy wheels are said to be 16 inches and sport the dual-tone treatment. The skid plate at the rear is finished in silver and gets black cladding all around.
Nissan will leave no stones unturned to make the Magnite feature-loaded. Nissan is expected to give 360-degree parking camera, touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto, Apple Car Play and Nissan Connect; reverse parking sensors, cruise control, climate control, electric sunroof and a lot more. The spied Nissan Magnite without any camouflage hints the imminent launch - maybe near this festive season or early next year.

The Nissan Magnite is expected to come with two engine options in India - 1.0-litre naturally-aspired and turbocharged engines. The turbocharged petrol engine will be given to top trims and it is expected to produce 100 PS and 160 Nm of torque. The naturally aspirated engine will be carried over from the Triber and it will produce similar 72PS and 96 Nm of torque. Both the engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual and top variants will also get the option of a CVT.
