The waiting period of the base variant, XE is as high as 180 days. Yes, the variant got so popular that everybody wanted to get their hands on it. Also, at this price point, it overshadows the premium hatchbacks as well as some good entry-level hatchbacks.

Being the entry-level variant, it surely misses out on the features but nowadays most people go for the aftermarket modification anyway and that surely helps in customising the car according to their taste which is also cheaper sometimes.
The base variant of the Nissan Magnite is fairly equipped with the features list. It gets anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, high-speed alert system, front seat belt reminder, rear parking sensors and among many others.

This particular variant comes with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which makes 72 PS with 96 Nm of peak torque. This unit is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This 1.0-litre is also available with a turbocharged and that develops 100 PS wth 160 Nm of peak torque. An optional CVT is available with this.
