Yes, you read it right. Now you can easily waive off your traffic challan in Delhi for free. Don't believe us? Well, you got to believe the traffic police department of Delhi then. The department has recently started a 'special opportunity' festival for every type of vehicle owner. This special opportunity gives the freedom to negotiate or even completely waive off your traffic challan.

Valid for two-wheelers, cars, commercial vehicles, and three-wheelers, the new offer is valid for traffic challans on or before 31 January 2022. According to the traffic department, vehicle owners who wish to negotiate, get deduction, or want complete waiver off over their pending challans can apply to scheme now.

Delhi police have organized a Lok Adalat on 14th May 2022 to cater to the pending traffic challans whose owners seek relaxation. To grab the relaxation, one needs to book online their slot for the Lok Adalat. This court will conduct hearings from 10 am - 3:30 pm on the upcoming Saturday. The online portal for slot booking will go live on May 11 from 10 am onwards. Relaxation seekers can book their slots by visiting this official link online.

The process is quite simple though. Once you go to the website, book your slot in time. After the slot is booked, the owner of the vehicle need to take a print out of their e-challan. One needs to add the date and timing of coming to the court. This e-challan will be further presented to the court Magistrate on the day of the hearing. Here, the owner can seek relaxation which is deemed up to a complete waiver off of the pending traffic challan.
