Ola Electric Roadster Bike: What Is It?
As visible in the leaked image, the e-bike has a very unique design. With sharp body panels and a slightly committed riding posture, it looks like a mix of a roadster and an off-road bike. The upright set handlebar is accompanied by a large tank design; which could house a new battery. Moreover, it has telescopic suspension at the front and a flat-track bike-inspired headlight design.
Look closely and the seat design as well as the subframe is inspired by the upcoming sports bike. Additionally, the tail section seems minimalistic in width and dimensions, thus, enhancing the rear tyre profile. Hardware includes 17-inch alloy wheels, disc brakes at both ends and an adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear.
While there are no further details known about it, we suspect that Ola will position it between its upcoming commuter and sports bike. Thus, it could feature a new battery pack and a new electric motor with a possible riding range of more than 200 km on a single charge. Its main rival, upon launch, would be the Matter Aera in terms of pricing and specs; as expected. Another possibility is that this could be the Cyber Racer; a name already trademarked by Ola.
Ola can possibly debut this roadster bike either by the end of this year or early next year. While stats about pricing are completely unknown, our expectations are that it'll be positioned around the Rs 2 lakh mark.
