The Ola S1 is the most affordable Ola electric scooter in the country and will be positioned below the Ola S1 Pro in the brand's line-up. Having said this, the brand recently shared that the Ola S1 price might be lower than what was promised earlier and will be shared at the time of the launch. The production of the base S1 model however will only begin in late 2022. Here are all the details that you should check about the new Ola S1 and the revised price.
During the unveiling, the Ola S1 price was originally promised to be INR 99,999 (ex-showroom, including FAME II subsidy). A quick comparison of the S1 with the S1 Pro reveals that the former gets comparatively lower performance and fewer features. The claimed range for the S1 stands at 121 km while the S1 Pro on the other hand gets a claimed range of 181 km. Likewise, the S1 gets a 2.98 kWh battery pack as against the 3.96 kWh unit offered with the S1 Pro. The Ather 450X on the other hand boasts a battery capacity of 2.9 kWh.

The S1 also offers less performance when compared to the S1 Pro and has a claimed top speed of about 90 kph. The torque figure is rated to be 58 Nm. Furthermore, the scooter also gets two riding modes - Normal and Sports. An additional riding mode, Hyper, is offered with the S1 Pro. The brand also shared that the Ola Electric Scooters will now be getting a new Eco mode with the upcoming Move OS 2.1 software update. On the features front, the Ola S1 gets a large TFT display while features like Hill Hold, Cruise Control, and Voice Assistant are missing from the package.
