Renault India is doing the testing of the upcoming Kiger SUV for a while now but this test mule shows that the testing is at its final stage. Finally, the interiors of the Renault Kiger SUV have been spied giving an idea of the overall layout and features on offer. The interior layout is inspired by the Triber but comes with better equipment.
Talking about the interiors, the centre of the dashboard gets a free-standing 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system which offers both Android Auto and Apple Car Play. The AC vents are placed below the touchscreen and the climate controls are placed on the lower part of the bumper. The Kiger will sport a darker grey shade interiors, unlike the Triber which gets black and beige coloured interiors.

Similar to Triber, the Kiger also gets a curvature which gets start/stop button and connectivity ports. The 3-spoke steering gets audio controls and also cruise control buttons. One unique feature will be the digital instrument cluster which may not have any physical dials. Talking about the exterior design, the test mule was in a red shade. The front gets split LED headlights and the LED DRLs sit on the top whereas the main 3-pot LED headlights are placed on the bumper. The front number also gets some black elements to improve aesthetics.

The Renault Kiger is expected to be powered by a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine with 100 PS and 160 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT box. To keep the price lower than the competition, Renault may also offer the naturally aspirated 1.0-litre engine with the Kiger carried from the Triber which produces 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque.
The launch of the Kiger will happen in October 2020 and it will rival other SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon etc. Renault Kiger's cousin - Nissan Magnite will also use the same underpinnings and engines but it will be launched in January 2021.
