Renault Rafale - Design & Dimensions
The all-new Renault Rafale is constructed on the advanced CMF-CD platform. Its striking appearance is accentuated by a Deep Glossy Black diamond-patterned grille, with an elongated horizontal bonnet. The front design showcases a meticulously crafted radiator grille, complemented by Renault's signature light pattern seen in the New Clio. The Rafale's prominent bonnet and sculpted front bumper give the impression of forward propulsion, while the rear wheels are highlighted by a pronounced shoulder mass. Additional design elements include a skid plate emerging from beneath the rear bumper and a gracefully sloping roofline.
The all-new Renault Rafale measures 4.71 meters in length, 1.86 meters in width, and stands at a height of 1.61 meters. It boasts a spacious interior with a generous wheelbase of 2.74 meters. The flawlessly curved roofline of the Rafale ensures ample headroom for passengers in the back seats.

Renault Rafale - Interior
The Renault Rafale showcases several notable features, including a newly designed Solarbay darkening glass roof, dashboard-mounted dual 12-inch OpenR screens, seats with red, white, and blue overstitching, a 9.3-inch head-up display, adjustable mood lighting, and a built-in Google system with Maps, Google Assistant, and numerous other applications. Additionally, it offers both wired and wireless compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, among other convenient functionalities. When it comes to safety, the Rafale boasts an impressive array of 32 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Renault Rafale - Powertrain
The Rafale features a powertrain consisting of a 3-cylinder, 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 130 hp (96 kW) and 205 Nm of torque. In addition, there are two electric motors integrated into the system. The primary electric motor generates 50 kW (70 hp) and 205 Nm of torque, drawing power from a 2 kWh/400V lithium-ion battery for electric driving capabilities. The secondary electric motor functions as a 25 kW and 50 Nm High-voltage Starter Generator (HSG), responsible for starting the engine and facilitating gear changes in the clutchless transmission.

Initially, this SUV will be introduced in Europe with a front-wheel drive (FWD) hybrid configuration, delivering 194 bhp. However, at a later stage, the brand has plans to release a 4-wheel drive (4WD) setup with a more powerful 290 bhp. The 4WD variant will feature an additional motor mounted on the rear axle.
Verdict
Initially, the Rafale will make its debut exclusively in European markets, and there is no official information regarding its release in other markets. Based on its specifications and features, the new Renault Rafale promises to be a fully equipped and technologically advanced SUV. Currently, Renault India have three models in its lineup namely Kwid, Triber & Kiger.
