Electric Vehicles are getting really very popular in India in recent times. We are seeing an influx of EVs in our country and more and more of them will be coming to our shores in the coming months or years. At the 2020 Auto Expo, Renault showcased the K-ZE EV and the new Zoe EV. As per some reports, the company will launch the Kwid-based electric car in India in 2022 but the launch of Zoe EV is uncertain. However, the Renault Zoe EV has been now spied on test in India for the first time ever, so is it launching soon?
Renault Zoe EV is a small hatchback and it looks really cool. The EV that was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo was the latest model that is on sale in the global markets. But, the Renault Zoe EV that was recently spied in Chennai was the pre-lift model. The car was wearing a temporary registration plate which hints that it might be undergoing testing. Renault might be testing the powertrain of the EV to analyse how does it perform on the Indian roads and different climate conditions. While the India launch of the Zoe EV seems uncertain, it is very popular in the international markets.
