Renault is working on developing a new sub-4m sedan and it is currently being believed that this new sedan will be based on the new-gen Logan. The patent images of the new-gen Logan are now viral all over the internet. Once launched, the Renault's sub-4M sedan will rival the cars like the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, Ford Aspire, and the Tata Tigor in the Indian market. Read on to find more details about the vehicle.
This upcoming sub-4m sedan from Renault is expected to be based on the CMF-A+ platform which can also be seen on the cars like Triber, Kiger, and the Nissan magnite. The engine options on this sedan are expected to be similar to those found on the Magnite and the upcoming Kiger. While more details about the car are still not known, it is expected that this new car will be revealed and launched in the second half of 2021.

As of now, the French carmaker is all set to launch the new Kiger in the Indian market early next year. The vehicle will share its underpinnings and powertrain options with the Nissan Magnite and will be offered as a highly VFM vehicle. Renault did confirm the launch of a new small sedan at the Auto Expo 2020 and we do believe that this car may take its inspiration from the Renault Taliant. The Renault Taliant is the renamed successor to the Logan which was once sold in the Indian market.
The upcoming Renault Kiger is expected to be powered by a 1.0-L naturally aspirated three-cylinder motor and a 1.0-L turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine. The power output from these engines stands at 72 Ps and 100 Ps respectively while the torque output is 96 nm and 160 Nm respectively. Same engines are expected to power the new Renault's Sub-4m Sedan.
