Revolt Intellicorp is a Gurgaon-based Indian Start-up which made its market debut in the year 2019. The company launched two electric motorcycles - Revolt RV 400 and a more affordable version of the same called the Revolt RV 300. The Revolt Electric Motorcycles gained instant popularity in the country. That's quite natural too as these electric bikes are really good and also these are the first and only electric motorcycles to be sold in India. The Revolt Electric Motorcycles were initially launched only in Delhi and Pune in August 2019. Now, the company has shared the images revealing that the deliveries of the Revolt RV 400 and RV 300 Electric Bike have commenced in Ahmedabad and Chennai.
As we mentioned before, the Revolt Electric Motorcycles were initially sold only in the National Capital New Delhi and in Pune. The company was about to make its way to other metro cities gradually in a planned manner. Revolt Motors was about to start its operations in Ahmedabad on February 29, Hyderabad on March 2, Chennai on March 5 and Mumbai by the end of March 2020. However, that was the pre-COVID era. The coronavirus pandemic disrupted the plans and things got delayed. The company has already established its dealerships called Revolt Hubs in Chennai, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. But, it is unclear when these Revolt Hubs will be established in the National Commercial Capital of India.
Now, amidst the coronavirus pandemic, Revolt Motorcycles has started delivering the Revolt RV 400 and RV 300 Electric Bike in Ahmedabad and Chennai. In Ahmedabad, the electric motorcycles are sold via Revolt Hub Naroda and Revolt Hub Himalaya Mall. While in Chennai, the electric bike manufacturer operates out of Revolt Hub Velachery and Revolt Hub Anna Nagar. The company has shared the images of the electric bikes being delivered on its social media handles. It can be seen in the images that the electric bikes are being delivered to the customers with proper sanitisation process in place. The customers and the dealership staffs are following all safety protocols and they can be seen wearing masks and gloves.

Talking about the Revolt RV 400 Electric Bike, so it gets a 3kW electric motor that has a peak power output of 3000 watts (around 4 PS) and the top speed is rated at 80 kmph. It gets three different Riding Modes - Eco, City and Sport. The electric motorcycle comes coupled to a 72-volt 3.24KWh lithium-ion battery. It has an ARAI-certified range of 156 kilometres on a single charge. Revolt claims that once the battery is drained, it can be fully juiced up in just 4.5 hours via a regular charger. Also, the Revolt RV 400 is India's first Artificial Intelligence (AI-Enabled) electric motorcycle.
Talking about the price of these electric motorcycles, so it is offered with MRP or My Revolt Plan. The RV 400 gets two monthly plans: the base one that costs Rs. 3,499/month and the top-spec plan costs Rs. 3,999/month while the RV 300 is available for just Rs. 2,999/month. These monthly charges have to be paid for 37 months and it will even cover insurance, registration and service costs. The Revolt RV 400 also gets unlimited battery warranty which is valid for 8 years/1,50,000 kilometres while the product gets 5 years/75,000 kilometres warranty.
