Original Article: October 31, 2020: Royal Enfield is all set to launch its new motorcycle in India very soon. The new upcoming 2020 Royal Enfield Meteor 350 BS6 will be launched in India on November 6, 2020. The new RE Meteor 350 was about to be launched in April this year but thanks to the on-going coronavirus pandemic, the launch was delayed. Now, the RE fanboys have finally got the opportunity to rejoice as a new RE motorcycle will be launched soon. Just ahead of the launch, the company has released an official video of the new Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
The above-embedded official video of the new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has a tagline #MissOutOnNothing! The company has also released several short videos on its official Instagram handle. One of those videos even gives us an idea of how the exhaust note of the new upcoming Meteor 350 would sound like. Further, the company has also sent us a digital launch invite for the same. The upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be the first motorcycle from RE to be based on the company's new J-platform, J1D to be precise.

It will be powered by a much-improved version of the current 350cc engine that powers the Classic 350 and the Bullet 350 BS6. The RE Meteor 350 will get a BS6-compliant 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor will churn out around 20.07 PS of maximum power at 5250 RPM and 28 Nm of peak torque at 4000 RPM. The engine will come mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. For suspension duties, it will get telescopic forks at the front and dual-shock absorbers at the rear. The braking duties will be performed by disc brakes at either end with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be available in three variants - Fireball, Stellar and Supernova and there will be multiple bold colour schemes on offer. Also, it will get a host of connectivity features and will be the most technologically-advanced RE yet! This includes a comprehensive rider info display as well. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 1.60 lakhs - Rs. 1.70 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. It will rival against the Honda H'Ness CB 350, Jawa Motorcycles and Benelli Imperiale 400.
