Mahindra BE.05 electric crossover SUV has been spotted on test multiple times and different elements of the upcoming SUV have been seen in different pictures. Recently, a new test mule of the SUV has been spotted by our community member Ullas Raj, revealing the clearest images of the interior and exterior design. Mahindra BE.05 Electric SUV Design Elements
The upcoming BE.05 electric SUV will boast a unique design language with a sharp nose, a quirky design for the LED headlamps, a blanked-off grille, LED DRLs, and a connected light bar. The overall front design will give it a muscular appeal. On the sides, it gets squared-off wheel arches, a sloping roofline, and EV-specific aerodynamic alloy wheels.
The rear profile gets a quirky design too with a split roof spoiler, a slanted windscreen, a tailgate spoiler and C-shaped connected LED tail lamps with sequential turn indicators.
Mahindra BE.05 Interior Spotted Up Close
The interior of the upcoming BE.05 boasts some interesting elements. The EV will get a 2-spoke steering with a flat bottom on both sides (like racing cars, a unique strap-type inner door handle, differentiating cabin panel that gives the driver a sense of private space, the BE.05 does not get leatherette seats instead it gets fabric seats which is seems to be recycled fabric for enhanced sustainability.
The center console gets a rotary dial for mode selection. A center armrest is available that seems to hold some space for storage. The BE.05 will also get a dual-screen setup for the infotainment and instrument cluster.

Mahindra BE.05 Powertrain
The brand has not yet revealed the specifications of the upcoming electric SUV. We anticipate that the BE.05 will get a 60-70 kWh battery pack with a range of 400-500 km on a single charge. Additionally, the EV will support fast charging and recently reached a speed of 200 km/h on the test track.
Verdict
The recently spotted test mule confirms that the brand is extensively working on the upcmoming electric vehicles. Mahindra is designing its cars to closely resemble the concept vehicles previously unveiled to the public. The muscular design, a plethora of features, unique interior elements and other design details will give the EV a distinctive identity.
