621 days after bookings for this scooter were thrown open (yes, 15th August 2021), yet another revised launch date for Simple Energy's first electric scooter, the Simple One, has been announced by the Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer. On May 23, Bengaluru will witness the launch of the Simple One electric scooter. After numerous setbacks, the company finally revealed a new launch date for its first electric scooter. With its first premium affordable EV, the company hopes to disrupt the nation's expanding electric 2-wheeler sector.

Simple One Electric Scooter
The Simple One is the scooter in the sector with the safest battery since it has a battery pack that complies with latest safety regulations. Simple ONE will be one of the few E2W product to provide the longest range and reduce client range apprehension.
On the announcement of the launch date, Mr. Suhas Rajkumar, Founder & CEO, of Simple Energy, said, When we set out to make the Simple ONE, our aim was to provide to our valued customers a product that matches up to the level of the global players. To that end, we have spent the last 2 years vigorously testing our product in the most demanding conditions and ensuring that the result is the best in the business."
Simple Energy is the first OEM to comply with the Automotive Industry Standards (AIS) 156 amendment 3 that ensures greater battery safety. Simple ONE is now faster, improved on aesthetics, on battery systems and powertrains and offers unmatched safety. The brand has successfully addressed the issues during testing and are confident that their product will stand true to the wait. Simple Energy wants to lead the ongoing transition to green mobility by developing more products and maintaining a primary focus on research and development.

Costing Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom) for the entry-level model, which has a real-world range of 203 km (up to 236 km in ideal conditions), and Rs 1,44,999 (ex-showroom) for the long-range version, which has a real-world range of over 300 km in ideal conditions with a second battery pack.
