Leading EV mobility solutions and development company, Simple Energy has announced its plans for further development and expansion ahead of its launch. According to few sources, it has been confirmed that the Bangalore based EV maker will be unveiling its flagship electric scooter named 'Simple One' on 15 August in Bangalore.
As of now, the company has announced the launch of the brand in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai followed by other cities in phase 1. Interestingly, the brand has also been developing its factory in Hosur, Tamilnadu which is said to have the capacity to manufacture 10 lakh units annually.
As for the Simple one electric scooter, the company has planned to launch it in multiple states across the country. The brand aims to launch its flagship e-scooter in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhyapradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Gujrat, and Punjab.

Simple Energy will also be presenting company-owned experience centres in cities of the aforementioned states of India in response to the rising demand for its scooter. The brand has also announced that deliveries will commence shortly after the launch of the Simple One electric scooter.
"We have been receiving a lot of requests from many cities across India to book the vehicle. The company felt the need to address these requests and kickstart the phase1 plan. We are also commencing the pre-bookings from PAN India from the launch day. The future is certainly cleaner and greener for Simple Energy," Suhas Rajkumar, Founder, and, CEO of Simple Energy, said.
Simple energy has also revealed the specification of the Simple One electric scooter. The Simple One will be equipped with a 4.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack which has a claimed range of 240 km in eco mode. The top speed of the e-scooter is said to be 100 kph and the vehicle has clocked 0 to 50 km per hour in just 3.6 seconds.
As for the features of the Simple One, the scooter gets a mid-drive electric motor with a removable battery pack. In addition to this, the e-scooter gets a futuristic touch screen that has integrated navigation, Bluetooth and much more.
The Simple One electric scooter will start at a price of Rs.1,10,000 and could go all the way up to Rs.1,20,000.
