The base Slavia now starts at Rs 10.89 lakh, which is a significant Rs 50,000 cheaper, while the base Kushaq starts at Rs 10.89 lakh, a reduction of Rs 70,000. This development came to light alongside the new edition launch but there is a caveat. These entry-level prices are for a limited time period which expires after the festive season.
Moreover, Skoda has taken the elegant Slavia sedan up a notch with the introduction of the Matte Black edition. This special edition features a striking Carbon Steel exterior paint shade finished in matte, adding a touch of sophistication to the car's aesthetics. As for the transmission, they come equipped with a 6-speed manual, a six-speed automatic, and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Diesel is not an option in any combination of the variants in any of these cars.
Meanwhile, Skoda has upgraded the top-spec Style trims of its Slavia and Kushaq models by adding powered front seats and footwell illumination.
