We witness a lot of new technology being incorporated in modern-day cars. We have everything in our cars nowadays - from the wireless charger to a vacuum cleaner - life becomes easier because of these clever features. But there is only one brand which takes the "Clever" term seriously and it goes with the slogan as well. Simply Clever is the slogan of the German-owned Czech-carmaker which has filed a patent of a very clever feature - illuminated seatbelt buckles from Skoda. It may sound silly at once but it is actually clever and very useful, let's see if it is a big deal!
Skoda has patented the most number of features in Czech under its Simply Clever tagline. A total of 94 patents were filed in the year 2019 under the Simply Clever initiative which includes some useful ones. Coming to the latest patent from Skoda which is the illuminated seatbelt buckles. It may not sound like a big deal but this helps in more than one way. In the night, you no more have to find the buckle as it is illuminated. Moreover, the buckle gets a transparent plastic top which is lit up by LEDs and it glows in three colours - Red, Green and White.
