Vayve Mobility, a Pune-based electric vehicle manufacturer has unveiled its solar powered small EV concept at the 2023 Auto Expo Motor Show. The carmaker is now ready to unveil the production ready avatar of the Vayve Eva EV at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. Vayve EVA Solar Powered EV
The Eva is a small three-seater EV that is aimed for city commute. The Eva will be powered by a 14 kWh battery pack which offers a claimed range of 250 km on a single charge. This EV will take 45 minutes to charge from 0-80% from a fast charger. Moreover, the brand claims that it can be charged for a range of 50 kilometers in just five minutes of fast charging. The EVA will feature a solar panel acting as a panoramic roof and offering power to the EV. If we talk about the drivetrain, it will come with a rear acle mounted motor generating 40 Nm of peak torque.
On the features front, the Vayve Eva will pack a six-way adjustable driver seat, touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digital instrument console, remote diagnostic and monitoring, airbags, climate control among other features. Moreover, if we talk about the dimension, the Eva measures 3,060 mm in length, 1,150 mm in width, and 1,590 mm of height. The wheelbase of the Eva measures 2,200 mm.

The Vayve Eva is aimed for city commutes and it will offer affordable commuting option to the customers. The brand claims that the running cost of the Eva will be Rs 0.5 per kilometer. The Eva will be suitable for 2 adults and 1 children and will offer easy commuting method to the customers. The small size will help in easy manuvering in congested traffic conditions.
