Currently, the XEV 9e is offered in three 59 kWh variants and one 79 kWh variant. With the upcoming update, the lineup will include four 59 kWh variants and two 79 kWh variants. The Pack Three will introduce a new 59 kWh variant, while the Pack Three Select will feature an additional 79 kWh variant.
The BE 6 has been through a renaming process, other than which this electric SUV remains unchanged. It continues to be the edgier option among the two new electric SUVs from the Indian car maker, and it is also among the few rear-wheel drive electric vehicles to come with a starting price of under Rs 20 lakh.
Mahindra BE 6 2024-2026 was discontinued in 2026.

The BE 6’s coupe-SUV design looks rather sharp, and the flared arches give it a beefier stance. With its sharp and edgy design, the BE 6 looks very close to its concept version.

It gets C-shaped LED headlights which add to the futuristic look and feel, and there is also an air duct between the lights, which aids in aerodynamic efficiency.

The BE 6 is longer and wider, but not taller than the Curvv.ev, and that is despite being shod on 19-inch aero alloy wheels, and bearing a ground clearance of 200mm.

The tail-lights also get a rather sleek, C-shaped treatment, there is a diffuser treatment for added sportiness, and overall the sharply-raked roofline towards the rear might hamper visibility.

There is a new, two-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel, with an illuminated BE logo on a gloss-finished surface.

It gets a 12.3-inch blended screen setup for the infotainment and the instrument cluster, and the split treatment at the front, along with the edgy lighting mimics the feeling of an airplane cockpit in the driver’s seat.

- The BE 6 can be had with either a 59kWh battery pack or a 79kWh unit. It is also powered by a single electric motor on the rear axle, effectively making it a rear-wheel drive car.
- The 59kWh variant produces 231 PS and 380Nm of torque, while the 79kWh variant puts out 285 PS and 380Nm. Mahindra claims a 0-100kmph time of 6.7 seconds for the latter variant.
- The 59kWh variant claims to cover ‘over 400km’ on a single charge, while the larger, 79kWh battery pack gets an MIDC-claimed range of 656km. A 20 to 80% charge in just 20 minutes is possible via a 175kW DC fast charger.
