The BYD ATTO 3 is a family car with an EV motor inside it. The spacious cabin, great feature list, and premium design help to maintain utmost comfort inside the cabin. The cabin has good quality and soft-touch materials. Overall, it’s a good product to consider. The advanced safety features, like LEVEL 2 ADAS, make it a compelling choice. It also offers other features in the segment. If you're still not convinced about the Atto 3, consider an ICE car like a Toyota Fortuner or Jeep Meridian at this price point. Or, settle for an MG ZS EV. You could also stretch your budget up to 45 Lakhs for the Ioniq5.
- The front face of the Atto3 has a futuristic design that gives a bold look to the car. The double projector headlights with LED DRLs provide simple elegance. The minimal use of chrome on the grill gives a sophisticated presence to the Atto 3. The black theme on the bumper provides vents for better aerodynamics.

- Talking about the motor specifications, the ATTO 3 comes equipped with a 60.48 kWh battery along with a PMSM motor. This motor churns out 201 BHP and 310 Nm of peak torque and all the power is delivered to the front wheels.
- The Atto 3 comes with blade battery technology. This battery has a claimed range of 521 Km (WLTP) and in real life, it will return about 400-450 km very easily.
- Pushing it to its maximum limits, It goes to a top speed of 150-170 km/h depending on the mode you are driving and has 3 modes for regenerative braking on offer.
- Charging an EV is still a big concern in the market. Considering the charging time, using a DC fast charger, it goes up to 80% in 50 minutes. While using an AC charger, it will take around 9.5-10 hours for a complete recharge.
- The 3 driving modes on offer are, ECO, NORMAL, AND SPORT mode. The range and the power delivery alter in each mode. The Sports mode is the most powerful with punchy performance. However, the range drop is really quick. In ECO mode, the power delivery can be felt sluggish but the range is ample enough.

Last Updated on 6th Nov'24: BYD has expanded its Atto 3 electric SUV lineup in India with the introduction of two new variants: Dynamic and Premium back in July These variants are differentiated by their battery capacities, with the Dynamic offering 49.92kWh and the Premium featuring a 60.48kWh battery. While the Atto 3 continues to be a strong contender in the electric SUV segment, BYD has also recently launched the eMax 7 MPV, a rival to the Innova, priced at Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
BYD has introduced two new versions of its Atto 3 in India. The first variant, called Dynamic, is priced at Rs 24.99 lakh. The price of the second variant, named Premium, is priced at Rs 29.85 lakh. Both versions come with different battery capacities: 49.92kWh and 60.48kWh, respectively. Alongside these updates, BYD has also unveiled a stylish new colour option called Cosmos Black.
