Last Updated on 26th Jan'25: The Vietnamese carmaker Vinfast has made its India debut at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025 with the flagship VF7 electric SUV that comes with a dual electric motor setup and an entry-level model with a single motor set-up as well, with a max range of up to 450 km on a single charge. However, the launch will take place in the coming months with its price reveal.
Design: The Vinfast VF7 comes with a minimalist design that includes LED lighting all around with a solid muscular bodyline on the sides blending modernity with minimalism that gives off sophisticated vibes. The side profile comes with big aero-cut alloy wheels and prominent wheel arches adding that SUV stance
Dimensions: The Vinfast VF7 comes with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm, a length of 4,545 mm, a width of 1,890 mm, and a height of 1,635.75 mm, promising a notable road presence while on the move.
Features: Inside, the car takes a unique approach by replacing the traditional instrument cluster with a heads-up display. The dashboard is sleek and minimalist, dominated by a 15-inch infotainment touchscreen. It’s packed with features like a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, ADAS, 8 airbags, and more, ensuring both convenience and safety.
Battery And Range: The Vinfast VF7 is powered by a single 75.6 kWh battery, available in different performance variants. The entry-level model delivers 204 PS and 310 Nm of torque, with a front-wheel-drive setup and a single motor. The top variant ups the power to 354 PS and 500 Nm of torque, featuring an all-wheel-drive configuration with dual motors. In terms of range, the base model offers a claimed 450 km on a full charge, while the higher-spec version provides 431 km.
Launch And Price Expectations: While the launch of the Vinfast VF7 is expected to hit showrooms by mid of 2025, it will be priced somewhere in the range of Rs 60 lakhs- 65 lakhs ex-showroom.
