BYD India has rejigged the variant offerings of its electric SUV, the Atto 3. The BYD Atto 3 is now more affordable with the introduction of new variants. The starting price of the Atto 3 EV is Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom). BYD Atto 3 Variants & Pricing
The Atto 3 comes in three variants: Dynamic, Premium, and Superior. The Dynamic is the base variant with a 49.98 kWh battery pack, while the Dynamic and Superior variants come with a bigger 60.48 kWh battery pack.

BYD Atto 3 Features & Specifications
The Atto 3 is one of the most feature-loaded electric SUVs under Rs 35 lakh in India. Starting from the base Dynamic variant, it comes with a 12.8-inch touchscreen rotating infotainment display, 7 airbags, automatic climate control, digital instrument cluster, electrically powered driver and front passenger seats, wireless charging, LED lighting, and other features. The mid-spec Premium variant comes with some additional features like multi-color ambient lighting, an 8-speaker HD sound system, 18-inch alloy wheels, and other features. The top-of-the-line Superior variant comes with ADAS features, adaptive headlamps, and other features.
If we talk about the specifications of each variant, the base spec Dynamic variant comes with a 49.98 kWh battery pack with an ARAI claimed range of 410 km. This variant supports up to 70kW DC CCS 2 charging and can be charged from 0-80% in 50 mins with a DC charger and takes 8 hours for a complete charge with an AC charger. The Premium & Superior variants feature a 60.48 kWh battery pack with an ARAI claimed range of 521 km. This battery pack supports up to 80 kW DC CCS 2 charging and takes 50 mins for 0-80% charge via a DC charger and 9.5 to 10 hours with an AC charger.

Verdict
Given the increasing demand of electric vehicles in India, BYD has played a nice move by introducing new variants. The brand has made the Atto 3 more affordable and a more tough competitor in its segment. It now competes with the MG ZS EV and the base variant offers a decent number of features to compete with the top-spec MG ZS EV. This significant move by BYD India will help the brand to attract more customers.
