Tata Punch CNG is powered by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine that produces 84 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. In CNG mode, the motor will produce 76 bhp and 97 Nm of torque. Thanks to the twin-cylinder CNG technology, boot space management is much more efficient than the other CNG-powered vehicles.
Features
The Punch iCNG will come brimmed with features like an electric sunroof, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear AC vents, a second-row armrest, and automatic climate control to name a few.
Altroz CNG Highlights
Altroz CNG will share the same engine as the Punch with the same power figure output. This will also be equipped with the same twin-cylinder technology. We can be sure of better boot space management with this one as well.
Features
Feature highlights of the Tata Altroz CNG are six airbags, LED DRLs, projector headlamps, an electric sunroof, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, height-adjustable driver seat, and leatherette seat upholstery to name a few.
VERDICT- With the ICE models of both cars doing well for the Tata, an additional CNG will help attract a wider customer base. Those looking for a factory-fitted CNG kit will be moving towards the new offering from Tata. Plus, the 2 cylinders of CNG placed side-by-side offer more boot space in practicality. This is a win-win situation for both customers and the company. Customers benefit from more options from the manufacturers while the company gets a wider appeal for the products.
