Tata Motors announced a new service concept called the EzServe in India. The Tata EzServe car service is a two-wheeler-based service concept that will offer basic service, quick repairs, and resolution of concerns to the Tata vehicle owners at their doorstep. The service connect mobile application will help the owners book a service appointment, schedule vehicle pick-up, update on vehicle repair, and much more. Having said this, here are all the details that you need to know about this new initiative by Tata.
With an ever-increasing customer base and a strong demand for its vehicles in the Indian market, Tata Motors is making impressive efforts to improve the after-sales service being offered to the existing customers. The Indian carmaker recently added 160 new service workshops for passenger vehicles in FY22, taking the total country-wide touchpoints to 705. The brand is now offering service coverage across 485 cities and increased the number of cars serviced last year by 30 per cent.

The EzServe mobile unit comes with an elaborate kit. The kit consists of three utility boxes mounted on the rear of the bike. These boxes contain spare parts, vacuum cleaner, jack, jack stand, and other important tools required for regular car maintenance. In addition to this, the brand has also ensured that the technicians are well-groomed while it has also digitised the process of registering repair orders at the workshops. The workshops too are now being upgraded to promptly respond to the customer queries, provide cost estimations and work in sync with its Service Connect App. The Service Connect App not only offers real-time data to the after-sales teams but in addition to this, also provides services like booking, vehicle pick-up requests, vehicle repair status, service repair estimates, and a lot more.
The online platform will also help the owners get information regarding vehicle servicing, authorised dealers/service centre locations, as well as services like extended warranty and 24X7 road assistance. Dimple Mehta, head of Customer Care, Domestic and International Business, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles said, Our endeavour is to enhance service touchpoints with a focus on shorter formats to make us close to our customers.
