As with the concept version of the HBX, the test mule also features a floating console design with a 7-inch display. It also gets the same 3 spoke steering wheel that is offered on the Tiago, Tigor, Altroz and the Nexon. The model caught testing here is the one equipped with a 5 Speed Manual Transmission.

The HBX is also rumoured to come with dual-tone alloy wheels, C-pillar mounted rear door handles, roof rails, conventional antenna, body cladding on the wheel arches, blacked-out B-pillar, rear washer and wiper, rear bumper-mounted number plate holder, high-mounted stop lamp, and a reflector positioned in the middle of the rear bumper.
While the concept version of the HBX was showcased with a part digital gauge cluster like the Altroz during the Auto Expo, it looks unlikely that it would be carried over to the production model. Instead, it will most likely come with the digital gauge cluster currently doing duties on the Tiago, Tigor and Nexon.

Based on the ALFA platform, the HBX is rumoured to be christened the Timero and is expected to make its debut in the first quarter of the financial year of 2021-22.
It is also expected to be powered by the 1.2 Revotron petrol engine mated to a 5 Speed Manual or a 5 speed AMT. Rumours are also strife that the higher variants might receive a turbocharged petrol unit.
