The Bombay-based home-grown manufacturer, Tata Motors, has launched the 'Click To Drive' online sales platform for India that will enable the customers to buy any Tata car or SUV of their liking without paying a visit to the dealership. The Click to Drive digital platform is an end-to-end full online sales experience which enables the customers to buy a Tata Motors car with a click of a button from the comfort of their homes. This digital platform has been integrated with all Tata Motors dealers from more than 750 outlets across the country with the provision of vehicle home delivery for the customers at a later date.
In order to avail this 'Click To Buy' digital sales service, the designated customer has to follow the following under-mentioned steps:
- Register on the Tata Motors Click to Drive website
- Select the desired car or SUV
- Browse through the Video brochure (If required)
- Book your car
The 'Click To Drive' online platform includes the sale of five Tata Motors cars - Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Nexon, and Harrier. Moreover, the newly launched Tata Altroz also comes with an immersive virtual showroom experience, called Imaginator, which allows the customers to customize their vehicle by selecting from a range of variants and colours as well as factory customization options.
After paying the booking amount, a customer will receive an order confirmation via e-mail, following which he/she will be contacted by a designated sales consultant through a Tata Motors call centre or from the selected dealership and eventually guide the customer through the entire purchasing process including the on-road price, finance assistance and valuation of their existing car for exchange services. The entire sales process is completed virtually using online communication tools such as emails, WhatsApp and video calls.

Finally, after all the purchasing process is done, the customer can decide whether to pick-up the car from the selected dealership or have it home delivered at a later date. In other news, recently Hyundai also expanded its service of 'Click To Buy' digital sales platform. The introduction of these online sales platforms allows customers to save their time and maintain social hygiene by purchasing their favourite cars without physically visiting a showroom.
